I had dinner recently at the Curry Spot up on Kimball Ave in Yonkers. It is on the same block as the Malt House, near the the Cross County Mall.
Has anyone been to this place? I thought it was actually quite excellent. I think the place is fairly new, but I haven't driven up that way in a couple of months.
So check it out if you get the chance, it is reasonably priced and very tasty. They even have a lunch special with chicken tikka masala, rice or naan, and a soda for $6. I'm definitely going to have to go back to this place.

We've been there a few times since it opened, and have always been quite happy with our meals. We were so excited to see an alternative to chinese and pizza (have also been at Oshima a lot). We figure we had better enjoy it now, because it doesn't seem very busy, and it definitely is way too big. Very worried it will close before people have a chance to enjoy it. I wish it had opened closer to a busy area - seems very out of the way where it is. On the plus side, they are doing well enough to print a new menu, which is good because their old one had very funny typos.

I don't think they deliver to Woodlawn. I think Mclean ave is as far south as they will go, but you could call them up and ask.
Yeah they definitely should have opened that place up closer to Woodlawn. Think of all the young Irish kids around who love Indian food. That place would have a booming business if it were closer to McLean or Katonah.

Curry Spot is AWESOME. They deliver to Woodlawn (well, to me... I'm on 237th and Kepler). They're wonderful!

There is a sign in the window of the former Traditional Irish Bakery (at 235th and Katonah) saying that the Curry Spot is coming soon.

Curry spot Katonah Avenue
Last night my friends and I dined at the new Indian restaurant on Katonah avenue, the service was superb, the food was delicious and the prices very reasonable. I highly recommend trying it.
