Post Biking in VanCortlandt Park
Hello,

I am new to the area. I recently went on a bike ride in VanCortlandt and noticed there were some designated biking trails.  However, I did not know how I arrived at these trails. Does anyone know where the paved trails are located in the park.  Also I went biking on the Croton Aqueduct trail.  Unfortunately I am not sure how to get on it again.  Any directions would be appreciated. Thanks

The bike trails are the north-south trails on the west side of the park.  The unpaved trails, such as near Woodlawn, are off-limits for bikes.

There is a nice park map, I think it's free, offered at the Van Cortland manor house.  I haven't found a good map online.  There is a tiny map of the park at http://www.nycgovparks.org/sub_your_park/vt_van_cortlandt_park/vt_van_cort_park.html
