Post Traditional Irish Bakery gone
I am disappointed.  The Traditional Irish Bakery on Katonah is gone.  What happened to it?

I found an article in the New York Times about the beginnings of it, twenty years ago

I noticed it was closed this morning, so i went to sean's deli instead and saw one of the girls from the bakery working behind the counter at Sean's.  It was busy so I did not bother asking what happend but I to am dissapointed and would like to know what the story is.

I walk past there all the time on my way to C-Town and honestly I have rarely seen a soul in there.

Didn't they double the space a couple of years ago, and expand the scope of the business?  I always worry when places do that - seems like such a huge risk to take.  But I guess that a risk you have to take sometimes when you do business.

The web site http://www.nyc.gov/html/doh/html/rii/index.shtml will give you the health inspections for every restaurant in NYC.

The Irish Bakery passed with 19 points which is typical of a NYC restaurant.  They got dinged for things like not having a poster warning pregnant women not to drink alcohol.
