Hi,

I live on 234th st, and often park on Peters Place overnight.  I've only lived here for 1 year, but my car has been broken into.  Nothing was taken, since there was nothing of value in the car.  The scary thing is, there were at least 5 other cars with broken windows that morning.  Since then, I've noticed at least 4 other occasions where there were multiple car break ins on that street.  Every time the breakins occur on a friday or saturday night.

There are a commercial businesses with cameras outside, but none seem to point at that side of the street.  Who knows if they're even hooked up.  The police were on the verge of laughing when I asked what could be done, since they would rather sit at the gas station down below and drink coffee.

As a community, we should be able to come together and crack down on the vandalism.  I'm open to suggestions.  Maybe we could talk to one of the businesses and get a camera pointed on that area of the street?
